This zine was inspired by both my recent completion of my Klan Lynching postcard series and my recent visit to the Los Angeles Zine Fest. I had visited the fest a couple of times in the past, however, upon the loss of my home, studio, and physical portfolio of art, I’ve been trying to further explore more accessible mediums of creating what I need to say visually. Zine Fest renewed that creative spark and gave me the inspiration and examples I needed to create my first zine. Two of the images are based on two of the postcards in my series and the rest have been independently conjured up.
